Making life just a little bit easier ...

How many of you have purchased this really cool macho wagon, only to find out that it weighs over 150 pounds fully loaded!

That's exactly what happened the first day of walking this beast to the beach. We loaded it up with our cooler, swim fins, boogie boards, beach towels, and a few dozen of my kids favorite toys, only to come home with a strained back and sweat pouring down my face (along with the usual sunburn). What a nightmare!


After months of online searching for something that would take the pain away (nope, not even Calgone...), I came to the conclusion "if you want a job done right, do it yourself!". So I did, and this is what I came up with:

An All Terrain Battery Powered Wagon to haul all my "stuff" wherever we go, beach, park, wherever. So I mention this to a few friends and other beach goers with similar painful wagon stories, and the vote was unanimous! "Just build it, and they will come" they said. So off I went, with a parts list of:

• Heavy Duty Pull Wagon
• Gear Motor
• 12V Battery
• Clutch Mechanism

Simple enough. It didn't take long to find the parts (the wonderful world of the Internet), and an order was placed. The most difficult part of the project is the assembly, or rather, the butchery of the original wagon and retrofitting the new parts. So a little mechanical layout and drafting, and voila! A Powered Wagon is born.
